Joan is working as a nurse with BMS in Angola, supporting BMS partner, IEBA.

"A few months ago it was agreed that I would work with other members of the health department to set up a health education programme in the north of the country. I am currenrly staying in Mbanza Kongo for four weeks. This is my second visit to the province and my remit this time is to spend some time working in the clinic situated on the mission station and to visit two of the clinics based in villages outside of Mbanza Kongo. Besides this, myself and the director of the clinic have been meeting with women’s groups to talk about health issues and give some health education."
